The ribbon charm pulls can be
"pulled" in a multitude of different ways. Below we have listed the
traditional way as well as new ways to make your presentation exciting and memorable.
However, we encourage you to use your imagination and creativity to find the
presentation that is the most fun and appropriate for your guest of honor and the occasion
they are celebrating.
TRADITIONAL
A cake is the traditional way the
charms were presented during Victorian times. The charms were inserted just inside
one of the layers of the cake or under decorative icing elements on top of the cake with
the ribbons left out to hang over the edge and down the sides. Any type of cake will
do! If you are using a professionally made and decorated cake, give the charm pulls
to the cake artist ahead of time and discuss the placement. Homemade or store bought
birthday cakes, cupcakes or bundt-style cakes work perfectly too. Individual petit
fours or single dessert servings also work well.
NEW WAYS
- Beautiful crystal or silver goblets
provide an elegant presentation for any occasion with the ribbons cascading over the rims.
- Decorative vases (with or without
flowers) make an even more stunning centerpiece with the addition of the charm pulls.
- A terra cotta or decorative flower
pot is fun to use for an avid gardener!
- Colorful and unusual teapots and tea
cups are cool for those who are hot for tea!
- A silver baby cup or baby bottle is
so sweet for baby showers!
- A top hat or a champagne glass or
bottle will be a hit at any New Year's Party!

can share them on-line!
